Whispering Palms is an island resort that combines modern comfort and traditional element of Philippines, making it a distinct destination. Located in the idyllic island of Sipaway, it is a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Spend the day with friends and families swimming on the ocean’s crystal clear waters or enjoy a great day of scuba diving on the island’s breath taking dive sites. Recreation is not limited to swimming and diving. The island resort offers vast recreational activities such as kayaking, volleyball, badminton and table tennis to name a few. The island resort also boasts of a mini zoo that is home to some local fauna such as monkeys, birds, lizards and even crocodiles.
A regularly organized barbecue and theme parties add flavour to the already enjoyable dining experience at The Whispering Palms Resort. Shark’s Point Bar is located at the heart of the sprawling resort. It is a great place to enjoy cocktails, cold beverages and wonderful cuisine with the sound of the sea in the background. Indeed, a unique dining experience to remember.
Choose from 4 different room types, each with their own unique comfort and design. Choose from a room with a private bath to a detached bungalow for that “home away from home” experience. All rooms have hot and cold shower and air conditioning (excluding the standard room which only have an electric fan). All rooms guarantee comfort on top of superb service by The Whispering Palms friendly and professional staffs.

HOW TO GET THERE
FROM MANILA TO CEBU
Four airlines, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Philippines and Zest Air, have daily flights from Manila to Cebu. (About an hour’s flight)
From the airport, a resort representative will take you to Toledo, Cebu (approx. 45 minute trip) where you will board a ferry (ferry info below) to San Carlos port. Once in San Carlos, you will board the Whispering Palms banca (a motorized outrigger boat) to Sipaway Island. (approx. 15 minute boat ride)
TOLEDO TO SAN CARLOS PORT
From Toledo, you have three options of ferries to catch for your trip to San Carlos port. The M/V Fast Craft 2, M/V Lite Ferry II and M/V Melrivic 9. SIPAWAY DIVERS
Sipaway Divers is under German management and is located within The Whispering Palms Island Resort. Sipaway Island is surrounded by great dive spots both for new enthusiasts and adventure seeking divers alike. Whispering Palms has a house reef located near the dive center and is perfect for shore entry. Here you will see lionfish, blue-point-rays, cuttlefish, morays, stonefish, scorpion fish and octopus.
You can also take the boat dives that Sipaway Divers offers and explore the wonderful dive spots the island has to offer. Travel time ranges from 10-30 minutes depending on location.
SIPAWAY TOWER
Only 10 minutes from the shore. Sipaway Tower is a steep wall dive where stone fishes, stingrays, mackerels and morays are abound.
TREASURE POINT
15 minute boat ride from the wharf, Treasure Point is a sandy slope with rock formations.
CAMOTE SUNKEN ISLAND
It is an offshore reef, southeast of Sipaway Island. It has a gorgeous reef roof starting at 3m depth. Swim along huge coral fans with morays, bear crawfish, Brazilian groupers, horse mackerel and blowfishes. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes from the wharf.
LOS ROQUES
Only 20 minutes from the shore, Los Roques has maze like rock formations covered in soft corals. Commonly seen are slugs, stingrays and snappers.
DAP DAP
Located West of Sipaway Island, Dap Dap has pretty overgrown block of corals with huge sea fans. Travel time from the wharf is approximately 20 minutes.
