SCUBA DIVER

Short on time for getting your diving certification? The PADI Scuba Diver certification might be the one for you. This course requires less time than the PADI Open Water Diver course and results in a limited certification. PADI Scuba Diver certification covers only the first three of five sections of the knowledge development, the first three of five confined water (pool) sessions, and the first two of four open water training dives. This certification allows you to experience the underwater world and scuba diving and is a good warm-up for the Open Water Diver course.

PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to:

  • Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Instructor, or Assistant Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet.
  • Obtain air / tank fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in other diving activities as long as they have the required supervision.
  • Continue their dive training and complete the PADI Open Water certification course and additional courses such as the Project AWARE specialty course.
